Some weddings are unforgettable not only because of the couple, but because of the incredible adventure that follows. This beautiful celebration at Revelstoke Mountain Resort was one of those days.

After exchanging their vows surrounded by family and friends, the newlyweds had an unforgettable surprise waiting for them—a helicopter flight to the breathtaking alpine landscapes near Blanket Mountain. It had been the groom's lifelong dream to fly in a helicopter, making this experience even more meaningful. He proudly took the front seat beside the pilot, while the bride, videographer, and I enjoyed the spectacular views from the back.

Although wildfire smoke had settled over the valley, we quickly climbed above much of it, revealing crystal-clear views of rugged mountain peaks, glaciers, and endless alpine scenery. It felt like stepping into another world.

Once we landed, we had just enough time to capture some incredible portraits surrounded by glaciers and dramatic mountain backdrops. Our visit was cut short by an army of relentless mosquitoes, but not before we created images that perfectly reflected the adventure and excitement of the day.

From an elegant mountain resort ceremony to a once-in-a-lifetime helicopter adventure, this wedding was a perfect reminder that the best celebrations are often the ones filled with unforgettable experiences.
