Knox Mountain is one of my favourite locations for Kelowna family photography, especially during the fall when the Okanagan landscape is filled with beautiful seasonal colours.

For this fall family photography session in Kelowna, three generations of one happy family came together for a relaxed afternoon of photos at Knox Mountain. The family brought their dog along, making the session even more fun and personal. There were plenty of genuine smiles, funny moments, and natural interactions between the family members and grandparents.

One of the reasons I recommend Knox Mountain for family photos in Kelowna is the variety of beautiful photography spots. There are several great areas with large open spaces surrounding them, allowing us to find locations without crowds while still enjoying beautiful mountain and Okanagan views. Knox Mountain is also dog friendly, making it a great choice for families who want to include their pets in their family portraits.

This particular Kelowna family photo session took place on a drizzly afternoon. Fortunately, the light was soft and even, creating flattering conditions for natural family portraits. Afternoon is generally my preferred time for family photography at Knox Mountain because of the sun's position and the beautiful light it creates across the landscape.
