Fall mini photo sessions 2026 at Knox Mountain Park, Kelowna | Kelowna Family Photographer

Fall is definitely my favourite season for family photography in Kelowna, and Knox Mountain is one of my favourite locations for capturing beautiful outdoor family photos. The golden-hour light and fall colours made this recent family mini session especially beautiful.

This lovely couple moved to Kelowna about a year and a half ago, and they absolutely loved the location I chose for their family photo session. It was great to show them another beautiful spot in the Okanagan while capturing some special memories together.

Their three-year-old daughter made the session even more fun! We had plenty of happy smiles, funny faces, and playful moments. I love photographing families with young children because you never quite know what funny expression or unexpected moment will happen next. Sometimes, those spontaneous moments end up being everyone's favourite photos!

I used the beautiful evening sunlight together with an off-camera flash on a stand with a softbox to create soft, flattering light while keeping the warm, natural feel of Knox Mountain.

As a Kelowna family photographer, I love creating relaxed sessions where families can be themselves, have fun, and enjoy spending time together. Beautiful scenery is a bonus, but it's the genuine smiles, laughter, and connection that make the photos truly special.
