Fall mini photo sessions 2026 at Knox Mountain Park, Kelowna | Kelowna Family Photographer

Eight kids, one photo session, and the challenge of getting everyone to smile at the same time, or at least look at me at the same time! This was definitely the biggest family I photographed during this fall season, and let's just say it came with plenty of laughter, energy, and a little bit of chaos.

With kids ranging in age from 3 to 18, there was never a dull moment. Just when I thought everyone was ready for the perfect shot, one or two had other plans! Sometimes someone wasn't looking at the camera, someone else wasn't in the mood to smile, and keeping everyone cooperating at the same time felt like a small achievement.

But honestly, that's part of the fun of photographing big families! With so many different personalities and ages, unexpected moments are inevitable, and sometimes they make the best memories.

Knox Mountain was a beautiful backdrop for this session, with its stunning views and soft evening light. As a Kelowna family photographer, I love capturing genuine connections and real family moments, even when things don't go exactly according to plan.
