As a Kelowna Bat Mitzvah photographer, I love capturing celebrations that combine meaningful traditions with genuine family moments. This Bat Mitzvah for twin sisters at The Harvest Golf Club was a wonderful example.

We began outside with family portraits, using the beautiful greenery and golf course surroundings for a variety of natural photographs. With the girls and their parents, we explored several locations around the property, including the bridge, creating relaxed portraits with plenty of variety.

Once the celebration moved indoors, the program began with one of the signature moments of the Hora dance tradition: the Bat Mitzvah celebrants being lifted in chairs while surrounded by family and friends. The evening continued with dancing, speeches, challah cutting and eating, and many spontaneous moments of laughter and celebration.

The Harvest Golf Club provided a beautiful Kelowna setting for documenting this important milestone and the family memories created throughout the day.
